CC & Branson Belle
Hi! I am so confused!! I am taking a group of 20 people to Branson in about 3 weeks. Several of us have younger kids and we want to go to CC several times during our stay (4 nights), but we also want to go on the Branson Belle and Ride the Ducks? Does anyone know what the best deal for us is? And also, where can I find tickets to CC for 2 days for the price of 1? And would it be better to buy a season pass to CC and then I think we get Branson Belle tickets for 1/2 price, just can't figure out what is the best deal? Can someone help me??!!?

I don't think cc has a two for 1..
I tried to figure out if you get the branson belle 50% off with the season pass, It isn't plain about the season pass getting the 50% off. I know with the hopper pass you get 50% off. Have you thought about getting a city hopper pass for two out of the three parks, then get 50% off of the belle,?? Try calling and asking celebration city about their season pass....

Thanks, fordarama, I was hoping you would answer! OK, yes, I have thought about the city hopper, now let me ask you this: I realize with the city hopper, you can go to Branson Belle for 1/2 price, but you cannot get the paddlewheel room, I was wondering if those seats are worth the extra cost? Especially taking into consideration that the other seats would be 1/2 off. (I hope I'm making sense) How much better are the paddlewheel room seats as opposed to the regular seats? Also, Branson Tourism Center has 2 days at CC for the price of 1, so wondering if I should do that and then just buy the Branson Belle outright? What do you think?

With the city hopper pass, You could do silver dollar city and celebration city...
What we did was whe we bought the hopper passes, we bought them at the Branson belle office, during the time the boat was out on it's cruise... So, no long lines to wait in, and you have to buy the belle tickets at the same time as the hopper pass , to get the 50% off..... So we picked a different day to go on the boat, so we could easily pick the seats.. We were on the upper level, on the sides, so we didn't have to climb over anyone to get up for bathrooms, ect... I have never used the paddlewheel room, So I can't really compare it, We liked our seats, the only thing is we were watching the stage at an angle, But we still could see great... I think you would enjoy the hopper pass more, because you could do silver dollar during the day, and the afternoon at celebration city.. And you could go as much during your stay as you wanted to... Celebration opens at 3:00 in the afternoon... Which, I really liked, because of the afternoons are nicer there to me.. You would get more for your buck to me.... Sorry, I could help choose between the regualr seats and the paddlewheel room....... ![]()

If any of the 20 people in your group have a military id, you can get 2 for 1. Honestly, the person at the window we went to didn't even ask for the id. We just asked for the military discount and she gave it to us. But they did ask for it at SDC.

Hello! I bought my cc tickets 2 days for price of 1 off of reservebranson.com, they also have discounts on lots of other branson attractions, maybe even branson belle. You may want to check their rates out. Hope this helps!

I would call Silver Dollar City and ask them to help you figure out the best plan. I've done this before and it was very helpful. Several of the places you mentioned are owned by SDC, so maybe they have some kind of group sales deal you can tap into. Good luck!

When you pick your tickets, if I had it to do again (we sat in C-1) (3 rows back far side) I would get my tickets in Row C, table 5 or 6 I would guess that is about the middle I think or very close to it, the rows appear to be every other row is a wider row (for the servers to get in and serve) so get a row like A, C, E, ect... like I said we had row "C" and there was plenty of room to get out and not bother anybody,, If bathrooms are an issue get the higher number tables (I have no idea what they go up to) but on the other side of where we were is the bathroom, still I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. The Showstoppers were awesome!!!!

Whew! Thanks so much to all of you who is helping me! I don't know what I would do without this forum to lean on!
I took some advice from here and called SDC, and she said that the 2 for 1 that reservebranson.com offers (btw, thanks for that advice; branson tourism center is timeshare--their website keeps that a secret!) is the best deal for us, [i]unless[i] any of us are wanting to to to SDC or WW, and then the city hopper that fordorama mentioned is our best deal. So now, I have to get with my group and decide what they want to do. Thanks again to all! |

Hi, Christnme! Actually, I was telling you thank you for mentioning reservebranson to me because I had been looking at buying from branson tourism center, but they are actually a timeshare, but they are very discreet about it on their website, you find out when they have you on the phone ready to buy (very sneaky!). So, yes, if I find out that is the best deal for me, I plan to buy from reservebranson thanks to your good advice!
Keep it coming, you all--I appreciat all I get!! |
